Installing the NexsysOne
Mobile App
The purpose of this job aid is to walk external users through the process of downloading the NexsysOne mobile app.
Login Credentials
When you are granted access to the NexsysOne Mobile App, you should receive an email similar to the one below, which includes a user ID and a temporary password. Additionally, this email includes links to download the app for both Android and iOS mobile devices.
Downloading the Mobile App
In addition to the links in the email, there are alternative methods of downloading the app.
For Android Mobile Devices
Android users can download the app directly from the Google Play store.
Open the Google Play store.
Search for DISH NexsysOne.
Select the option titled SAQ - DISH. Do not select the options with TEST or UAT in the title, as your credentials will not work on these additional apps.
Android users also have the option to download the app by generating a link from the NexsysOne desktop site. For instructions on this method, follow the iOS instructions below.
For iOS Mobile Devices (iPhones, iPads)
iOS users cannot download the app directly from the App Store. Instead, they must generate a link from the NexsysOne desktop site. If you do not have access to this desktop site, reach out to NXOHelp@dish.com and request an iOS mobile app download link. If you do have access, complete the following steps:
Select your profile name in the top right corner of NexsysOne.
From the second dropdown menu, select your operating system (iOS or Android).
Select the paper airplane icon to the right of the dropdown. This will send a download link for the mobile app via email. Note: This email can take upwards of 20 minutes to arrive. If you do not receive an email, be sure to check your Spam folders. If you route emails from NexsysOne (NXO Support DISH) to another folder, the link will be sent to that folder.
From your mobile device, click the link within the email to open the app in the iTunes Store or Google Play store (for iOS and Android respectively).
Note: For iOS, the app will be downloaded from the iTunes Store, rather than the more commonly used App Store. If the iTunes Store is no longer downloaded on your device, you will need to redownload in order to download this app.
Logging Into NexsysOne
Once you have downloaded the app, login with your NexsysOne credentials. These credentials should have been emailed to you from NXO Support DISH. If you did not receive these credentials, reach out to your DISH point of contact to ensure they have requested access on your behalf.
