Reviewing COP Transport Items in NexsysOne

This job aid is intended for Transport Specialists reviewing COP (Closeout Package) items in NexsysOne to confirm Telco Room Ready. This must be completed before actualizing CX303 Telco Room Ready.

Forecast MA260 Telco Ready

The Transport Specialist should work with the CM to understand when construction starts for a site (forecast date of MA210). Based on this information, a forecast date should be assigned to MA260 Telco Ready to indicate when a site is expected to be fiber room ready.

Reviewing COP Transport Items

When a GC has uploaded the required COP items for Milestone II: Room Ready, the Transport Specialist is responsible for reviewing just the COP items that relate to Telco Room Ready.

  1. Navigate to the ProjectOne > QMS portion of NexsysOne.

  1. Select the COP tab.

  1. Search for the Site ID of the site ready for COP transport review.

  1. Double click to open the COP for that site.

  2. Within the checklist, scroll down to the II: Room Ready section. Within this section, the items requiring review by the Transport Specialist will include (Transport Specialist) in the description.

The list of all items the transport specialist should review can be found below:

  • 2.3: Fiber Conduit Route Open Trench

  • 2.5: Fiber Hand-Off Photo

  • 2.9: Overview of Platform with Load Center

  • 2.11: Fiber Distribution Panel

  • 2.12: Volt Meter Reading

Note: Only checklists created after this process was implemented will include all of these COP items.

  1. Select the icon to view item photos.

  1. Review each photo marked for Transport Specialist review to ensure the site has been properly prepped by the GC and can be confirmed as Telco Room ReadySee the Fiber Room Ready Requirements section below for more information.

  1. Approve or reject the COP items as needed.

  2. When all Transport-related items in the COP are up to standard, the Transport Specialist will actualize CX303 Telco Room Ready.

From here, the CM will review and approve/reject any remaining items with the Milestone II: Room Ready section of the closeout package. When all Milestone II photos are approved, the CM will actualize CX301 Civil Room Ready.

Fiber Room Ready Requirements

  • Conduit from DISH demarcation to existing or proposed meet-me point should be stubbed up with mule tape secured

  • Space should be available for the NID enclosure to be mounted on the DISH H-frame

  • Site access instructions should be available to the Fiber Provider
