Job Aid: GC Site Check-In/Out

In order to comply with DISH’s safety standards, all vendors visiting a DISH site are required to check in and out upon arrival and departure using this tool. Failure to follow this procedure can result in a stoppage of work and will require the submission of a corrective action plan to the DISH safety team before work can continue.

The purpose of this job aid is to walk GCs through the process of checking in and out of a site. Only one member of the team is required to submit a check-in/check-out form on the team’s behalf. These forms should be submitted promptly upon arrival and just before departure.

For instructions on how to download the NexsysOne Mobile Application, please follow this job aid.

Check-In/Out Process

  1. In the DISH NexsysOne mobile app, navigate to the On site Check in tile.

Note: If you have recently installed or updated the mobile application, you first need to download site data to your device. To do that, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Form or Projects

    2. Search for the Site ID

    3. Select the checkbox next to the site (do not select the actual site just the checkbox)

    4. Then select NEXT at the bottom.

    5. The screen will refresh and the On Site Check In tile will display.

  1. Select the Site ID as the Project Location. When selecting the project location, you have the option to search all sites, or filter by sites nearby. The GC, Region, Market, and AOI will auto-populate based on the site selected.

Note: These forms are required to be submitted within 500m of the project location.

  1. In the Comments field, enter the purpose of your visit or any additional information requested by your DISH CM.

  1. Select Submit or the Paper Airplane icon (depending on whether you are using an iOS or Android phone). When the form is submitted, it will be time stamped with the date and time of submission.

Note: Be sure to submit a form to Check In, as well as to Check Out, in order to provide an accurate measurement of time on site.
